One family's extraordinary generosity has reshaped the history of St. Rose Hospital, marked by selfless acts of service that will be celebrated in this community- now and for generations to come.
Over the past 12 years, the Jordan family contributed an astounding $10.5 million to St. Rose, including a $9.8 million donation made in May 2009 by Dolores Jordan on behalf of her husband Hanabul Jordan and his brother Lowell Jordan.
"I know I speak on behalf of the entire health-care team and the hospital boards in expressing our profound appreciation to the Jordan family," says St. Rose Foundation Executive Director Pamela Russo. "The Jordan's vision and legacy will benefit so many in our community through this extraordinary gift."
In October 2009, the hospital dedicated the Jordan Center for Cardiovascular Services, naming St. Rose Hospital's cardiology program in honor of the Jordan family and its unparalleled contribution.
